Maintenance Recommendations for Resin Flooring

A Few Tips

  • Never polish or emulsion seal resin flooring unless there is a special reason for it.
  • Use only recommended cleaning liquids or their equivalent. Do not mix cleaning liquids together and do not use cleaning liquids at greater concentrations than the manufacturer recommends.
  • Remove any rubber heel marks by abrasion with a polypropylene pad (using scouring powder if necessary).

How To Clean: Machine

  • Vacuum up dust and other debris.
  • Apply a low foam neutral cleaner and leave for several minutes.
  • Machine scrub using polypropylene brushes.
  • Wet vacuum residue.
  • Rinse with warm, clean water.
  • Wet vacuum.

Do remember that dirty equipment, particularly mops, does not clean – it merely redistributes the dirt. Machine scrubbing is the preferred method. Use polypropylene brushes – NEVER USE NYLON PADS. Remove any grease or oil spillage before main cleaning cycle starts. Wipe up spillages immediately.
