Epoxy Self Levelling Screed with Decorative Flake
Topcoat Flake system is a hard-wearing decorative Epoxy resin floor screed suitable for use in most environments. It is hygienic and easy to clean and comes in a large range of background colours and flakes.
By changing the screed colour and the colour of flakes used, the designer can produce a hard-wearing decorative floor to match any colour scheme.
The Flake system consists of four steps:
- Concrete subfloor is prepared by dust-free shot blasting or diamond grinding
- Epoxy high penetration Topcoat Primer 2000 is applied
- Self-levelling Epoxy screed Topcoat 2000 is applied
- Flakes are spread
Applications
Schools, Retail, Showrooms, Workshops, Canteens, Hospitals, Clean rooms, Warehouses, Food Processing areas, Production areas.
Screed Colours
Battleship Grey (dark Grey), Gunmetal Grey (light Grey). Leaf Green, Marine Blue, Sky Blue, Honey Yellow, Sand Yellow, Tomato Red, Tile Red.
Flake Colours
Red, White, Blue, Gold, Black. Mixing colours can create special effects.
Substrate Requirements
Concrete or substrate should be a minimum of 25N/mm2, free from laitance, dust and other contamination. The substrate should be dry to 75% RH as per BS 8204 and free from rising damp and groundwater pressure. If no damp proof membrane is present D-Proof DPM can be used.
